Some of us might be not familiar with the term ‘plunger’. To be honest, I also don’t know about this word until several minutes ago – when I googled the word and looked at the picture. Actually, looking at the picture didn’t make me understand what it is until I read the definition in Wikipedia: plunger is a common device that is used to release stoppages in plumbing.
Plungers consist of rubber cup with longer stick made from wood or bronze. Plungers are used to loosen or break up a clog, excessive material, or other blockage in drainage pipe from a sink, toilet, barhop, shower, etc. The main difference between kitchen plunger and toilet plunger is the kitchen plunger looks like a half ball, while toilet plunger looks like a distorted ball with a large hole on the bottom.
By the way, have you ever had a sink, either in the bathroom or in the kitchen? Or, the tub clogs up and you don’t have liquid plumber in the house? If it ever happened, the next time , your should take your plunger, go to the sink, and plunge. The time and effort needed depend on the toughness of the clog.
